The British Red Cross is providing basic life saving skills training to rural and isolated communities in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset. It is to provide "short term crisis care" until the ambulance service arrives. The project is funded by Tescos.
It is hoped that this training will draw in members of the community who can then go on to become peer trainers/educators thus sustaining and building on the project.
This is a free 2 hour course for 12 people in a suitable village hall or large room run by one of our qualified First Aid trainers.
