Biogas Seminar 2 Dec 2008
South West Rural Update Seminar – ‘Biogas – Are You Wasting An Opportunity?’
Biogas technology (anaerobic digestion) is common-place in Germany and Austria with thousands of installations on farms and elsewhere. There are very few biogas plants in the UK yet, but this is set to change bringing opportunities for farm diversification, reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, much improved options for waste disposal for both the food and farming industry and the production of renewable energy. This next event from South West Rural Update will provide information on what’s happening in the UK as of December 2008 and will focus on the practical solutions for moving forward.
